Terms of Service
Last updated: pilot draft, not yet dated for real use.
The service
Coverloop is a software tool that helps organizations collect certificates of insurance from vendors, extract data from those certificates using AI, and evaluate that data against configurable compliance requirements. It is provided during a private pilot period under these terms; a full commercial agreement will supersede this page before general availability or paid billing begins.
Pilot period
During the pilot, Coverloop is provided free of charge, without a fixed term, and either party may end participation at any time by written notice (including email). Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change as the product develops.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the insurance requirements you configure, for reviewing AI-extracted data before relying on it for an important decision (see our compliance disclaimer), and for having the right to upload any documents you submit, including certificates provided by your vendors. Do not use Coverloop to store or process documents you don't have the right to share with us and our subprocessors.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to bypass rate limits or upload validation, don't upload files that aren't genuine insurance certificates, and don't use the vendor upload links or any part of the service to transmit malware or unlawful content.
No warranty
Coverloop is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI extraction will be accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that compliance verdicts reflect a complete assessment of insurance adequacy. See the compliance disclaimer for more.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coverloop and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made in reliance on AI-extracted data or compliance verdicts. This section is a placeholder and will be finalized with legal counsel before general availability.
Termination
Either party may terminate pilot participation at any time. On termination, we will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow export, then delete it upon request per our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
Not yet determined — to be finalized with legal counsel.
